Your job would be to work on the only fully operational NGSO High Throughput Satellite Constellation O3b commissioning services and working through Engineering level support escalations a truly dynamic and rewarding job no two days are the same! Primary ResponsibilitiesKey Result Areas Commissioning of Customers end to end Satellite communications services, focusing on Network configurations, validation, and acceptance testing with the customer Working with engineering colleagues to take designs through to implemented and tested network services Preparing and updating detailed network design drawings Building monitoring tools using both industry standard and bespoke systems to enable effective alarming and historical data collection of our customers end to end systems Level 3 operations engineering support of customers sites inservice, to include Network Operations Centre escalations and be part of an oncall rotation schedule Work as part of a global team utilizing follow the sun support methodology Collaborate with Engineering Product Development teams in order to support the growth of the SES portfolio of products, act as the voice of operations to help ensure new products fit well into the operational environment Who We Are Looking For More About You In order to achieve the outcomes described above, we believe you will have the following SkillsCompetencies Happy to work as part of a global collaborative team, taking instructions from a dedicated mentor and delivering assigned tasks on time An analytical mind with the ability to absorb data and ask challenging technical questions Interest in Linux System Administration Scripting Preferred Education Experience Bachelors Degree in network engineering or equivalent Juniper andor Cisco Certifications example JNCIA JNCIP CCNA CCNP Preferred Qualifications EU National Fluent English language speaker Ability to participate in an oncall Rota to cover 24x7x365 support Willingness to travel internationally as required for Training and Customer Site Visits up to 10 of the time Whats in it for you Flexible working policy Bonus and equity plans Comprehensive and competitive benefits plans A range of wellness activities and employee assistance programs varies by location An employer that values all aspects of Diversity and respects every individuals story The contents of this job description are subject to change.
