Targeting LV motor applications, FN5060 standard dv/dt filter series protect motor windings against excessive voltage peaks and inadmissible voltage pulse rise times generated by inverter PWM output voltage. Design enables dV/dT filter damping performance without using resistors, simplifying installation and conserving mounting space. RoHS-compliant products, approved by CE, UL, CSA, and ENEC, carry 12–1,100 A ratings; higher ratings can be engineered on demand.
