Landfill proposal a key step in Exide cleanup plan

The proposal, which is still under review by local and state officials, is a key step in the cleanup process for the company that emerged from bankruptcy protection earlier this year. Still to come are Exide's plans for cleaning up the widespread contamination identified on and around its property that borders the Dallas North Tollway.
