Louisville chosen by VA to help usher in veteran economic initiative

Louisville is one of the first 25 cities the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has chosen to launch a new program that could improve the economic and employment opportunities of veterans through the coordination of services at the local level. The program, known as the Veterans Economic Communities Initiative, launched last month in Dallas, Texas, and is spreading to select cities across the country this year.
