A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Marine User Analyst to provide user, technical and service data requirements analysis support for specific projects in a working team of scientists and product experts. Typical tasks and responsibilities will include supporting the development of documented and agreed user requirements, service data requirements and service specifications in the context of Oceanography and Marine Meteorology by supporting the conduct of analyses or studies to make assessments and or validations of requirements, supporting the formulation of requirements and specifications, supporting the conduct of user workshops and Supporting other means of retrieving information from or providing information to the Marine user community. The candidate will also support the development of requirement analysis methods and tools by supporting the definition andor refinement of methods and or processes as developed by RSPMA Remote sensing scientists and Product Experts. They will support the management of requirements by support the documentation of requirements and service specifications according to the agreed templates, supporting the establishment and maintenance of the traceability between the different levels of requirements and specifications. All applicants should have experience in the collection, formulation and documentation of user and technical requirements for space based applications in Oceanography andor Marine Meteorology along with knowledge of the operational applications in the Oceanography andor Marine Meteorology, their benefits, their current set ups and state of the art and related future expectations. All candidates must have a University or similar Oceanography, remote sensing sciences or equivalent and be fluent in English, both spoken and written.
