HE Space is a successful international space company. For 30 years, we have been supporting our customers with qualified experts in the field of engineering, science and administration. We are currently looking for a Monitoring and Control System Consultancy Support for our customer in Germany. Monitoring and Control System Consultancy Support Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer is a European organisation providing weather and climaterelated satellite data, images and products for its users. In this role you will have the following responsibilities Maintenance of Sentinel3 MC requirement specifications and liaison with the operational users for the definition of the requirements baseline Follow up the Sentinel3 MC procurement to make sure that the delivery fits the intended purpose Support the Sentinel3 MC ground segment team and the FOS manager. Interact with suppliers and partner organisations Participation to the Reviews for the Monitoring and Control System and interfacing facilities Preparation of technical notes and attendance at technical meetings Analysis and review of any relevant Sentinel3 documentation Participation to Sentinel3 MC Monitoring and Control System facilities testing and related activities on facility as well as on system level Analysis of test results and test reports on facility as well as on system level in particular with respect to their suitability for requirement verification and validation Installation of the Sentinel3 MC Monitoring and Control System while fulfilling the configuration management requirements Verification of correct facility installation Monitor and, where applicable, steer the lifecycle for all related anomaly reports ARs nonconformance reports NCRs Preparation and production of routine reports as necessary. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent Experience in spacecraft and or ground segment procurement Experience in Mission Control System specifications development and procurement within a space system Indepth knowledge of a SCOS2000 based Monitoring and Control System Experience in Low Earth Orbiting satellite monitoring and control Indepth understanding of AIV related activities test procedure generation, requirements verification and validation Familiarity with the UNIX operating system usage Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Fluency in English is mandatory, knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
