Unit features built-in motor current detection circuit in redundant configuration as well as range of circuits that detect system failures, including battery under-voltage, over temperature, and driver electrical short. Housed in 12.5 x 6.1 x 1.2 mm package, IC has 2 high-side channels, 2 low-side channels, and charge pump to solely drive N-channel MOSFETs.
