N.C. counties could see $7 million in tax revenue from gas pipeline

The proposed $5 billion pipeline is a joint venture of Duke Energy, Piedmont Natural Gas and Dominion Resources and AGL Resources. Eight eastern North Carolina counties could begin collecting property taxes on the proposed Atlantic Coast Pipeline in 2016, according Dominion Resources .
