This vacancy note concerns an onsite consulting position at ESTEC in Noordwijk in The Netherlands. Navigation System Engineer 1311084 Job Description The tasks to be performed include the design, analysis and testing of radio navigation systems, with emphasis on system architecture and performance and on radio navigation receivers. The principal responsibilities are Participation in studies on radio navigation receivers design ant techniques, in particular for Galileo Support to the Galileo project in the followon of industrial contracts for test and system receivers Support to the Galileo project for system performance evaluation SoftwareHardware simulations and laboratory testing Required Skills and Experience University degree MSc minimum or equivalent in telecommunications and signal processing Specific knowledge of radio navigation systems architecture and key performance parameters of GNSS Experience in receiver design and testing of Radio Navigation systems and equipment Detailed knowledge of RX algorithm at User Level Specialist in the implementation, maintenance and operation of complex Radio Navigation simulation and test facilities Experience related with the EGNOS andor Galileo systems and equipment Experience in project management and industrial procurement Eligible to security clearance by their national security administration Work Location Noordwijk, Netherlands Dates Application Deadline 08 October 2013 Start of Work 01 January 2014 Important Notes Before applying to this position, please read the page Notes to Applicants on the Solenix website under Career.
