Nike expansion plans to accommodate new jobs

If Nike's plans are approved by the Washington County Land Use and Transportation Department by the end of December, the sports apparel giant anticipates moving forward with a $150 million expansion plan involving two new office buildings and parking structures at its World Headquarters campus near Beaverton in the first quarter of 2015. Fueled by job growth that brought 2,084 full-time equivalent, or FTE, employees to its campus at Southwest Murray Boulevard and Jenkins Road since Jan. 1, 2012, the company is prepared to construct two office buildings and two parking structures near the Tiger Woods Center on the sprawling grounds.
