Following release of ICC-ES ESR report No. 2715, Icynene LD-R-50™ castor oil-based, open-cell spray foam may be used for Type I-IV exterior wall applications for commercial projects. This adds to existing approval for Type V exterior wall use. Product, which can be applied without ignition barrier on floor of attics as well as crawlspace applications, has also been approved by IAPMO ES as well as the NAHB Research Centre as Green Approved product.
