Summary An excellent opportunity for an experienced PA Safety Engineer to work with ESA for Telespazio VEGA UK. Objective To support the Quality Assurance and Management Section.Resident QA control of spacecraft integration and test following spacecraft location. Responsibilities Duties This includes but is not limited to QA support surveillance of platform and Payload integration, system tests, launch campaign, AIT activities, NRBs. Backupdeputy of PAS Manager for all AIT activities. Main important competences relevant for the position are Representing ESA in the Boards established within the project for the disposition of Non conformances Failure Reviews, Test Reviews, etc. Produce reports of participation to boards, indicating the contribution made to these boards e.g. review of agendas, participants, minutes of meeting, action follow up, closeout. Monitoring the manufacturing, integration and test activities with quality assurance audits, mandatory and key inspection points, test witnessing and configuration inspections Produce report on activities performed with conclusion and recommendations. Controlling NCR Waivers Problems Critical Items. Produce meeting agendas, check that all inputs are available for the NRB or CCB, check that all needed participants are involved, produce NRB or CCB minutes of meeting, followup on actions identified, ensure proper nonconformancewaiverproblemcritical item closeout. Produce reports on control activities performed. The launch campaign. Interface for, instrument providers for all PAQA matters after shipment to the prime. Support to all relevant interfaces for the PA requirements, based upon the knowledge of the products ensuring Prime Contractor Customer requirements are defined and implemented. Insure a complete photographic AIT record is available to ESA. Extensive travelling is required to integration and test facilities, as well as the launch site. Qualifications Experience Relevant engineering degree or equivalent Considerable experience in Product Assurance and Quality Assurance in the aerospace domain. Essential Skills Knowledge of ESA general Product Assurance and Safety policy Good English language skills Qualities Good interpersonal, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work in a diverse team environment.
