Polyester Fiber Prices in China, India and Pakistan (Weekly Report)

Polyester staple fiber prices have begun significantly declining in the last seven days in China whereas filament yarn prices were even plunging in the meantime. The 10% fall of PTA prices in only two weeks could result in additional price reductions in the coming period whereas processors will maintain inventories at minimum levels. Our weekly report covers the Polyester Staple Fiber (PSF) on the domestic markets in China, India, and Pakistan. Polyester filament prices in China are also released, whereas the report includes a price comparison of polyester with cotton and viscose in China.
