POSITION ID 2156 ROLE FUNCTION Products Formats and Test Data Test Tools Engineer in Darmstadt Germany GENERAL CONDITIONS START 2015 LOCATION Darmstadt TYPE OF BUSINESS Science CONTRACT fulltime employment WORKING LANGUAGE English, French is considered an advantage TASKS The Products Formats and Test Data Test Tools engineer shall support the Sentinel3 Operations with respect to Marine Payload Data Ground SegmentPDGS in particular anomaly correction and software release process maintenance and necessary evolutions, including the necessary coordination with the data processing systems engineering and the MMEs engineers for the related interfaces with the rest of the Sentinel3 ground segment. PROFILE The consultant should have the following background 5 years of experience in testing and maintaining product formats and formatters, test data and tests tools for large scale software systems missioninstrument data processing related. Experience in engineering evolutions of such SW, test data and tools is also required. Knowledge and experience is required in software development lifecycles, system testing for EO systems and use of test data and tools for supporting this formats and associated formatters used in EO Marine applications, e.g. netCDF and also used in other communities like HDF,BUFR and GRIB,Good knowledge of CCJava programming language experience in a UNIXLinux based environment Knowledge of Scripting languages Python, Perl, TclTk, shell Knowledge of XML and related technologies XPATH, SVG, etc. For more Details about the Tasks, please feel free to contact Mr. Gustavo Gomez Recruitment Associate
