HE Space is a successful international space company. For over 30 years, we have been supporting our customers with qualified experts in the field of engineering, science and administration. We are currently looking for two Programme and Project Schedulers to support our customer in Germany. Programme and Project Scheduler Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer is a European organisation providing weather and climaterelated satellite data, images and products for its users. You will have the following responsibilities Establish, elaborate, maintain, monitor and control multilayered programme schedules Generate and analyse programme performance indicators e.g. milestone trend charts Generate periodic scheduling status reports Coordination of scheduling activities Planning of resources and reporting on resource usageavailability Project planning and schedule documentation maintenance and distribution Preparation and production of reports Contribute to the improvement of working practices. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree or equivalent, preferably in management or engineering Several years proven handson experience in project planning, scheduling, monitoring and control Extensive handson experience in schedule preparation, monitoring and control Experience in scheduling for space segment programmes andor ground segment development and operations would be an advantage Expert level usage of Microsoft Project or similar project schedulingplanning and management tools Extensive handson experience in using the Microsoft Office suite and in particular Word and Excel Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage. This job is located in Darmstadt. We are looking for candidates who are available from May 2014 or as soon as possible thereafter.
