We are looking to further enhance our team by Project Controller Support to the SSA Programme You will be based initially for 1 year at our clients headquarters in Darmstadt, Germany. Extensions for further years may be possible. In this large European Agency you will find an excellent and modern working environment with challenging tasks and responsibilities. Your Tasks Include The project control support to be provided falls under the responsibility of the Head of the Programme Project Control Unit, responsible for professional standards and generic programme project control matters but, for daytoday project control matters, it shall be provided to the SSA Programme management. He she shall support the Space Situational Awareness Programme and its projects in the implementation of their industrial activities, in accordance with the approved budget and in agreement with the established administration processes and the Clients contractual and financial Regulations, and in the preparation of plans and reports concerning the programmatic aspects of the projects. i.e. schedule, cost, finance, configuration, documentation, progress control as well as risk related aspects, with the aim to provide full visibility on all activities related to project resources. The duties shall include but are not limited to the following Preparation of work breakdown structures, the related work packages and the schedules, in support of the respective Managers Assistance in the preparation of tender documents for project controlrelated items and preparation of information for contractchange negotiations Monitoring of assigned contracts with respect to cost, progress, invoicing, payments, industrial return, deviation from plans and trends. Generation, maintenance of and reporting about financial, schedule and performance data, all accessible by both the department level management as well as the Programme Project Control Unit staff. Update and maintenance of data in both directorate and corporate information systems. Provision of inputs to budgets, reports and forecasts support the documentation management. Monitoring of financial commitments for compliance with budgetary provisions and financial regulations Planning and reporting inyear, multiyear, at completion on cost, schedule, industrial return, workforce, risks for the assigned programme. Preparation of forwardlooking estimates relevant to project specific data evolution as well as for future developments. Preparation and maintenance of the Programme CostatCompletion Establishing guidelines for maintaining the approved projects within the cost limits, preparation and maintenance of projects costtocompletion, and proposal of corrective actions Support to project reviews Supporting the Programme Project risk management process Supporting the preparation of Client Project Plans Maintaining an inventory of Programme hardware Establishing and maintaining the Project Documentation Management Systems DMSECLIPSE Assisting in the maintenance of compliance with the Quality Management System QMS Other adhoc tasks relating to project control Supporting the implementation of future esap releases Your Profile Applicants should have a university degree MSc or an equivalent qualification in a relevant engineeringcommercial or administrative field together with substantial experience at least 4 years in the project control disciplines related to the tasks under consideration, preferably gained in the aerospace industry Experience with computer systems and planning coordination tools is essential. A good knowledge of a management information system ERP such as SAP would be an asset. Candidates are expected to demonstrate excellent planning and organisational skills, attention to contractual detail, good sense for figures and be able to work effectively in a team environment. They must possess good judgment, integrity and communication skills. Interest in a combination of administrative and technical tasks Fluency in English spoken and written is mandatory a working level knowledge speaking and writing of French or German is desirable
