HE Space is a successful international space company. For over 30 years, we have been supporting our customers with qualified experts in the field of engineering, science and administration. We are currently looking for a Project Lead for Propulsion Systems to support our customer in the Netherlands. Project Lead for Propulsion Systems Key Tasks and Responsibilities As the Project Lead for Propulsion Systems you are primarily responsible for the execution of commercial, technical, operational and quality policies related to one or more products or programs within the portfolio of our customer. The Project Lead is the primary point of contact to the Customer and projectproduct core team that is engineering, designing and producing the products. You will have the following responsibilities Managing and acting as primary point of contact for the core team in order to support the Companys OnTimeOnQualityOnCost oToQoC philosophy Managing Customer requirements in line with the contractual agreements in terms of Compliance, Schedule, Quality and Cost Budget The Project Lead is for the total duration of one or multiple projects responsible for resource planning, contact with the Customer, definition of the program, quality and profitability in lieu of the oToQoC philosophy Supervision of the project or product core team according our customers procedures specifically related to the project management tools Proactively engaged to continuously improve the overall project performance in line with the KPIs agreed with the Direct Manager Responsible for preparing proposals, involving core team members for specific expertise areas or volumes Close contact with the Project and Proposal Manager in terms of monthly status reporting during the Project Status Review. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University Degree in a relevant discipline Several years of project management experience in the areas of project planning, project finance and reporting, internal and external communication Experience and good understanding of products involved in and relative to the quality, cost, design and delivery requirements of high end products Preferably background in space propulsion systems andor propulsion components, whether in Project Management andor Engineering. Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of Dutch or another European language is an advantage. This job is located in Heerle South of the Netherlands.
