A vacancy for a Receiving Station InService Support Technical Manager mf has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space at its Toulouse site. You will join the Upstream Operational Centre department. You will be responsible for the inservice support of the Pliades RIRS, Spot 67 DRS 17 or multimission DRSMM terminals currently being deployed or in operation. You will also be responsible for the backup support of the following production systems SPOT 17 NSD, PIAF, TPS in the absence of the main Support Technical Manager, Pliades PAIPSY, TPP in the absence of the main Support Technical Manager. In this context, your tasks will include Processing Image chain operational anomaly DITs and preparing the contexts of associated data intended for manufacturers responsible for the inservice support of terminals, Consolidating the operational perimeter of each new software version of terminal DRS 17 Spot 67 and RIRS Pliades 1A1B, in line with the reference systems of the main centres IMF, IPU and the technical events encountered during operation or acceptance testing, Contributing to the consolidation of the operational perimeter of each new software version of terminal DRSMM and EV, Preparing and participating in plant acceptance of software versions of terminals, in order to provide a status on the DITs concerned validation of correctionschanges, nonregression, For all the terminals deployed or currently being deployed, keeping a dashboard of the software configuration statuses, settings and specific options, versions of LAIs, GIPPs, etc. up to date, Providing expert support in operational scenarios which involve exchange interfaces between the main centres and terminals, Preparing, testing and drafting when necessary nonstandard operational procedures for terminal operators, Contributing to programme steering of the terminals via internal progress meetings and with manufacturers definition of the scope of versions, definition of priorities. In your backup support role to the nominal Support Technical Manager, your missions will be as follows Ensuring the daily administration of the systems in order to maintain the production capacities of SPOT 17 and PLEIADES, Supporting the team of operators in all nonstandard uses of these production systems. This position will require oncall duty 1 weekend per month. As the successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate some of the following competencies Engineering degree, ideally in IT, 5 years of experience in ground segments engineering, Ideally, knowledge of earth observation ground segments, MCO experience would be an asset, Good knowledge of systems Linux, Windows and SGBD Oracle, Postgres, etc., Knowledge of image processing would be a plus, Interpersonal skills, a meticulous approach and pragmatism, Ability to anticipate problems and respond quickly to user requests, Negotiation level of French and advanced level of English.
