Ridgefield Woman Charged With Issuing Bad Checks At Stew's In Norwalk

Francine Philippo, 52, was charged with third-degree larceny, issuing a bad check and failure to appear in court. She was held on $5,000 bond and will appear in court July 28. Police were alerted by Stew Leonard's that Philippo had written bad checks at the store on four occasions in January and February, according to police reports.
