Sanderson Farms eyes Fayetteville, commissioners consider incentives

The Cumberland County commissioners are deciding whether they want to consider incentives for a Sanderson Farms chicken plant that could employ almost 1,000 workers. Commission chairman Kenneth Edge tells The Fayetteville Observer that commissioners will get a closed-door briefing on Monday about the financial sweeteners.
