We are currently looking for a Satellite Simulator Software Engineer to support our customer in Germany, Darmstadt. Satellite Simulator Software Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities As part of the Mission Control Applications and Tools Team, you will have the following responsibilities Evolution and maintenance Spacecraft Simulators based on SIMULUS Operational satellite simulator anomaly investigation and resolution Implementation of simulator enhancements Testing, verification and validation of new simulator releases Development and enhancement of the simulator verification environment and automated testing Rollout of software new releases and patches Software support and training to the endusers of the application software Oncall services and software support to operations Generation and maintenance of technical and user documentation. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience Development and maintenance of Spacecraft Simulators based on SIMULUS SIMSAT, Ground Models, Generic Models, REFA, Emulator Suite, UMFEGOSMF SMP2 compliant software models of spacecraft service platform subsystems ECSS and CCSDS standards, especially ECSSE7041A PUS Formal software engineering processes Corrective maintenance, integration and verification testing of software Defining automatic testing suites at unit and components integration level Java and C programming under UNIX JavaScript scripts SIMULUS scripting technology Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
