A Spanish leader company in Aerospace Engineering and Scientific services with more than 45 years of experience working for NASA and 35 years working for ESA seeks a candidate for a postion of Multimedia Image Distributor. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE Services in the field of Exhibitions and Images Management, maintenance and update of the ESA Professional Photo archive Photo library for Professionals or PP A including credits, titles and captions. Uploading ESA HQ produced still images and videos on the eZ ESA as well as on the ESA cha1U1els on Corporate social media Flicker, YouTube to be defined, etc. Taking care of all requests for copyright clearance for the use of still images produced and distributed by ESA ESA interna requests, in particular for the needs of the Communication Department and Directorates Externa professional requests such as media, publishers, etc. Applying ESAs copyright policy for still images Support an Services in the field of Outreach and Country Desks Preparation, update and follow up of the production of standard material for the different events image and video selection on DVDs, ESA fact sheets, ESA General Presentation etc. Image resize and upload through ESA web publishing system eZ, for ESA internet and intranet needs Video and photo reporter for ESA HQ Outreach Officerelated requests Services in the field of the HQ Communication Office Providing backup on handling of journalists interview requests Providing backup for handling and publication of daily ESA press clippings. On request, ensure adequate interface with the company contracted by ESA to ensure Videos Distribution and Archiving Services in the field of HQ internet and ESA portal Providing training on eZ tool dedicated to HQ internet Control the multimedia element on top of the portal media web page ESA will provide to the contract service manager at the beginning of each year, a list of the expected upcoming communication activities for which the above service are to be provided see in alU1ex 2 the list 2013 as a reference for the proposal. This list will be updated quarterly and when required. PROFILE REQUESTED The requested profile is M2 The following skills are essential Able to take responsibilities and work in an autonomous way Excellent organisational skills Excellent knowledge of ESA programmes and missions Familiar with ESA interna softwarework tools i.e. eZ publish, SAP, MAS... Capacity to identify priority actions and to keep high quality of work under pressure Good knowledge of image copyrights is indispensable Fluent in English and French DELIVERABLES Managementarchiving ofthe ESA Professional Photo archive daily Handling of externalinternal image requests daily Support to corporate media relations upon request Image video production weekly Handling ofESAs copyright issues on images daily 3.3.4 KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS Monthly detailed reports with numerical data on performed activities will be provided by Contractor as follows Number of PhotosCopyrights requests directly handled, target 1500 annual average Number ofPhotos Videos shooting produced, target 20 annual average Number ofPhotos Videos diffused, target 1000 annual average Number of interna per ESA directorate requests treated , target 1000 annual average Number offiles downloaded by journalists per domain, target 3000 annual average Assessment by the customer of quality of service rendered, on a rate seae 1 to 1O 7 being considered the mnimum acceptable value, as regarding the following criteria quality and timely presentation of deliverables punctuality understanding of objectives capability of interacting with ESA staff and suppliers overall appraisal of service quality Applications Interested candidates should send cv and cover letter to curriculumisdefe.es by 7th November 2013.
