(Telecompaper) Mobile messaging startup Snapchat is planning to soon launch ads on its service, Bloomberg reported. CEO Evan Spiegel said at the Vanity Fair New Establishment Summit in San Francisco that people will soon see the first ads on Snapchat. He said the ads will be around the company's "stories" product, and will be optional to view. The start-up has attracted investors including Yahoo! and Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers at a USD 10 billion valuation this year, people familiar with the matter have said. The company has been working on its business model and is now looking to bring in revenue from advertising.
