The Position We are looking to strengthen our GEO mission team delivering cutting edge service to our customer based in Oberpfaffenhofen near Munich in the area of spacecraft operations with a talented and ambitious team member. It is fulltime and permanent and expected starting date will be around September 2020. We are looking forward to meeting you! ResponsibilitiesDuties The responsibilities include but are not limited to Certification as a spacecraft Controller in GEO missions Supervision of system performance and of automatic service provision to customers Maintenance of actual mission planning data and the mission schedule Monitoring of the health status of all satellites components Monitoring the use of the satellite payload Levell response to anomalies, based on procedures Data collection after anomalies Activation of engineering support if required User Help Desk first Response Provide regular Oncall services QualificationsExperience An excellent Masters degree in the field of Aerospace Engineering Excellent command over English both spoken and written Proven interest in Space by way of coursework, project, trainings etc. Fluency in German Language will be a plus Essential Skills Excellent interpersonal skills Gogetter attitude Further Details Requirements A security clearance upto Secret will be requested in line with the customer requirements. Therefore, a citizenship of a EU country or a permanent stay in EU for more than 5 years is necessary.
