We are currently looking for a Spacecraft Operations Engineer for Sentinel 2 to support our customer in Germany. Spacecraft Operations Engineer Sentinel Key Tasks and Responsibilities Supporting the Flight Control Team, you will have the following responsibilities Validation, test and operation of the MCS, including the OBSM and Mission Planning System Validation, test and operation of the Simulator Generation, validation and maintenance of the FOP primarily on Data Handling, but also for other subsystems Support to test and operate the NDIU Support for FOS procurement, integration and tests Review of satellite documents LEOP support responsible at subsystem level Commissioning support responsible at subsystem level. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University Degree in Engineering or a related subject Spacecraft flight operations, including FDIR, knowledge of main subsystems Packet Utilisation Standard Operational environments Flight procedures life cycle, including validation Anomaly investigations Ability to understand and accurately predict behaviour of complex systems Low orbit satellite operations including preparatory phase OPSPREP, special operations LEOP, Deorbiting campaign and operational phase routine Experience with OnBoard Software maintenance is advantageous Satellite control systems, in particular SCOS2000, would be an advantage Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
