JOB DESCRIPTION The primary area of responsibility for this service is Data Handling, but the candidate may be requested to assume the responsibility and perform activities for additional subsystems or systems within the scope of general SOE services. Other areas of responsibility and support specific to Sentinel2 are Validation, test and operation of the MCS, including the OBSM and Mission Planning System Validation, test and operation of the Simulator Generation, validation and maintenance of the FOP primarily on Data Handling, but also for other subsystems Support to test and operate the NDIU Support for FOS procurement, integration and tests Review of satellite documents LEOP support responsible for Data Handling Commissioning support responsible for Data Handling Requirements Spacecraft subsystem knowledge, preferably for Data Handling Experience in working in an operational environment Experience with flight procedures life cycle Experience with organisation or execution of tests involving both ground and space segment Experience with anomaly investigations Ability to understand and accurately predict behaviour of complex systems Ability to work independently and with little supervision Wellorganised, able to prioritise and manage several activities in parallel coordinate and interact with other service providers in operations and other fields. Fluency in English, both in speech and writing Experience with On Board Software maintenance Familiarity with Packet Utilisation Standard Familiarity with the ESOC environment Familiarity with satellite control systems, in particular SCOS2000 Familiarity with operational simulators, especially the ones based on SimSat Some experience dealing with external interfaces Familiarity with low Earth orbit satellites Familiarity with multi satellite missions WHAT DO WE OFFER?
