Position Reference 768 We are currently looking for a Spacecraft Operations Engineer Sentinels Expansion Operations Preparation to work at our clients premises in the city of Darmstad, Germany. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Preoperational support activities to the Mission Control Teams, linked to the evolution and new developments required within the Earth Observation Flight Operations Segment and in particular the Sentinel Expansion missions. This includes Ground Systems PreOperations Support FOS Assembly, Integration and Validation preOperational Support SpacetoGround Interfaces testing and validation preOperational Support. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory University degree or equivalent education in a relevant discipline. Proven expertise providing support to and integrating within Mission Control Teams for FOS development activities, from early requirements definition phase to A,IV activities. As a minimum 5 years of experience. Good understanding of the operational concepts linked to File Based Operations FBO and CFDP. Proven experience drafting and implementing FOS System Test Plans Understanding and knowledge of EGOSCC MCS based systems. Demonstrable experience with S2K based MCS. Fluency in English, both written and spoken. The following skills would be highly desirable Background and experience working with ECSS PUS. Knowledge of PUSC.
