Sparks Museum to receive $5K grant for archival library

The Sparks Heritage Museum announced that TransCanada will be presenting a check for $5,000 to the museum Friday for the benefit of a proposed archival research library. The museum said in a statement that the grant, to come from TransCanada's Tuscarora Gas Transmission Company, will help preserve the written history of Sparks and the Truckee Meadows area.
