US surfwear brand Quiksilver has had a somewhat busy year as it implements its multi-year strategy, designed to boost its bottom line. The company has chosen to divest some of its non-core assets in a bid to strengthen its core brands, which industry observers believe may be key to turning the group's fortunes around.
