Sprint introduces USD 20 'unlimited' data plan

2015-10-29 16:41:00| Telecompaper Headlines

(Telecompaper) Sprint is introducing a new headline offer for mobile data of 1 GB per month for USD 20. After using up the allowance, customers are reduced to 2G speeds, or they can buy a top-up. Adding unlimited calls and texts costs another USD 20 per month. In a riposte to rival T-Mobile's marketing about overage charges, Sprint said it's also introducing unlimited data for customers on the Sprint Family Share Pack plans. After using up their monthly allowance, they will not be charged extra for additional data, but will see speeds reduced to 2G levels. They can buy additional high-speed data for USD 15 per GB. Lastly, Sprint is introducing a USD 70 plan with 3GB of mobile hotspot usage and Sprint Global Roaming. Additional lines with the same unlimited high-speed data, talk and text are USD 60 per line (up to 10 lines).
