Price rises introduced by energy giant SSE are three times the rate of inflation and will come into effect from November 15 Energy giant SSE, the parent company of Welsh supplier, is increasing gas and electricity prices by an average of 8.2%, the first of the major suppliers to announce a rise this autumn.
