RHEA is currently recruiting a System Engineer to support the Sentinel6JasonCS project at our clients premises in Darmstadt, Germany. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Justification of the system design including producing and maintaining any relevant analyses and budgets General support to system engineering activities, for example Documentation of system design and interfaces. Support to the technical coordination with Partners. Support to segment level activities and reviews as required. Participate to System level formal reviews. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory University degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline relevant to the job profile together with the experience and capability to fulfil the assigned tasks with a minimum of supervision. At least 5 years demonstrated experience in the field of large scale systems engineering and architectural design Demonstrated ability to analyse systems from an endtoend perspective Capability to prepare design documents, to perform systemlevel analyses and to produce and maintain technical budgets. The following skills would be highly desirable Experience in earth observation satellitebased projects, particularly in the areas of nearreal time data processing or spacecraft control systems Experience with Model Based System Engineering with the support of dedicated tools e.g. CORE Space and ground system engineering processes and standards.
