Job Description You will carry out tasks which support activities typically related to Phase BC of a space programme in the area of system design engineering and architecture definition. You will work within the Sentinel6JasonCS project, with potential support to other LEO programmes. You will perform system engineering activities such as Justification of the system design including producing and maintaining any relevant analyses and budgets General support to system engineering activities, such as o Documentation of system design and interfaces o Support to the technical coordination with Partners o Support to segment level activities and reviews as required. Participate to System level formal reviews. Requirements You shall have the following qualification and work experience A university degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline At least 5 years demonstrated experience in the field of large scale systems engineering and architectural design Demonstrated ability to analyse systems from an endtoend perspective Capability to prepare design documents, to perform systemlevel analyses and to produce and maintain technical budgets. Fluency in English Experience in earth observation satellitebased projects, particularly in the areas of near real time data processing or spacecraft control systems Experience with Model Based System Engineering with the support of dedicated tools e.g. CORE Space and ground system engineering processes and standards.
