We are currently looking for a System Engineer for Operations Support to work in the beautiful city of Frascati, Italy. You will support ESA in the Copernicus Space Component Coordinated Data Access System CSCDA project during the implementation cycle and operational deployment of the followup project PRISM Copernicus contributing missions access support functions and platform, responding to Copernicus Service Projects CSP evolving needs. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Copernicus Contributing Missions integration process supervision Technical interfaces monitoring Requirements definition support ITTs and CCNs and support for Operations Scenarios definition System Documentation Update ICD, Operational Scenarios, SRD, Monitor routine operations and link to CQC User Need review and CCM impact analysis Supervise PRISM Maintenance Activity Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory Degree in a relevant technical field such as Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science. At least 5 years of experience in a directly relevant Space EO industrial or research environment. Knowledge of ESA EO missions and their operational context Knowledge of EO based science application Awareness of Copernicus environment stakeholder and Copernicus Contributing Missions Drafting and editing complex technical reports Proficiency in MS Office Tools System Engineering AIV experience Project Management expertise Job experience in International context Model Based System Engineer UMLSysML Software Engineering Experience better if related to Satellite Ground Segment Requirement Writing Technical Writing Presentation Meeting Management Task Management Analysis Team working Results Oriented Appetite for Learning Documentation Review Ability to coordinate complex tasks Flexibility Proactive approach Negotiation How to Apply Looking to take your career to the next level?
