LSE Space is looking for an experienced Engineer mf in order to fulfill the task of System Interfaces Engineer at our customer EUMETSAT in DarmstadtGermany. The primary responsibilities of this role will be The tasks and responsibilities of the key person to be undertaken during the EPSSG Phase CD will typically include the following Verify that all external system interfaces are identified and sufficiently covered in system requirements and system model. Verify that the major internal inter segment system interfaces are identified and sufficiently covered in system requirements and system model. Implementation of any changes to the system model identified in order to aid the interface documentation. Coordination and definition of technical interfaces with the external partners and service providers Organisehold meetings and workshops with external and major internal interface partners to establish interface detailsagreements Generate and maintain the system Interface Control Documents ICD. Provide support to general system engineering activities Analysis and trade off activities Preparation and maintenance of system technical specification documentation of system design and justification ad hoc internal reviews system level formal reviews Provide support to progress meetings Support IVV activities Requirements The consultant shall have the following experience and background University degree in the domain of engineering, science, or equivalent. Proven experience in the field of engineering of space andor ground system. Experience of large space systems space andor ground segment. Experience of interface management and definition. Familiarity with mechanisms and tools for detailed interface definition. Demonstrated capability to prepare and manage ICD. The following experience would be additional assets Experience in the area of LowEarth Orbiting satellites LEO. Experience in CORE design tool from Vitech. Experience with DOORs. Academic and work related requirements A University degree in engineering, physics, or software domains is required. Perfect command of English, verbal and written.
