We are currently looking for a System and Services Operations Engineer to support our customer in Germany. System and Services Operations Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer is a European organisation providing weather and climaterelated satellite data, images and products for its users. You will have the following responsibilities System operations procedures Operations procedures and Interfaces with external partners Optimisation of spacecraft monitoring and control activities Optimisation of ground segment and mission operations Interface and coordination with the systems maintenance teams and industry representatives to ensure optimised performance, including participating in the definition and implementation of any changes Operational ground segment analyses and system anomaly processing Process and coordinate system modifications Functional verification and validation of system upgrades and evolutions Provision of training to other members of the Operations Team. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in a relevant discipline System Operations in a realtime LEO spacecraft operations environment Defining and implementing verification and validation of ground segment systems Defining, integration, acceptance testing and operation of mission data systems Definition and maintenance of operational interfaces Project and technical managementcoordination The following would be an asset Earth Observation ground segments Communications systems operations Operations security Systems development and upgrades within a 247 environment Windows Linux operating systems Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
