For one of our clients in Oberpfaffenhofen, close to Munich, Germany, we are looking for a Technical Manager for the Galileo Data Dissemination Network fm. Tasks The GDDN Technical Manager is in charge of following all technical issues within the contract for the provision of the Galileo Data Dissemination Network GDDN services. As such, heshe will be fully responsible for liaising with the Customer and the Subcontractor technical experts and for technical management of the activities of the communication service provider infrastructure. Main responsibilities of the GDDN Technical Manager are Ensure a timely delivery of technical capabilities to provide the GDDN service according to the schedule and performance requirements Follow planning of operations verification, operations preparation and validation, commissioning and deployment activities of GDDN contractor Interact internally with the teams of SPO for coordination and harmonization of operational issues Support the project manager for all engineering and schedule related issues Interface with the Security Accreditation Manager to develop and maintain an understanding of any GDDNrelated security issues Essential requirements The profile required is the one of a Senior Engineer coming from network and connectivity engineering or operations. At least 10 years experience in Complex TLC networks requirements analysis Satellite and terrestrial networks design, validation and operation Satellite and terrestrial network maintenance policies and procedures Network management systems and procedures AIV at subsystem and system level Operation validation and system handover from engineering to operation Desirable skills Experience in Galileo System is welcome.
