Our UKbased client is a leading provider of integrated avionics, engines, systems and service solutions for aircraft manufacturers, airlines, business and general aviation, military space and airport operations. Our client is a global designer and manufacturer of space hardware and systems. They are world leaders in the production of spacequalified passive microwave equipment and specialized electronics. In addition, they provide microsatellite mission solutions ranging from mission concept studies to launch and operations. This is a rewarding, and exciting opportunity for a test engineer to join our team. Within this role, you will be an integral member of the team, responsible for the testing of components, and equipment for our internal and external customers. You will play a pivotal role in the planning and execution of products within our site that are typically space hardware and systems. This is a permanent position starting in March 2018. Responsibilities Production testing to defined test procedures Methodical and Disciplined approach Competent user of standard test equipment Experience Digital and Analogue test techniques Experience RF Microwave test methods Fault finding to component level Preparation of test reports and test procedures Tune test of analogue, digital and RF circuits Tune test of microwave components and subassemblies Preparation of controlled test documentation test procedures, test reports etc in line with quality system Skills HNCHND qualification in electricalelectronic engineering or equivalent experience Knowledge of electrical, electronic and RFMicrowave test methodologies Familiar with COTS electrical and RFMicrowave test equipment Experience fault finding at a component level Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office
