Available as add-on to OPTOCAT2013R2 measuring and evaluation software, Texture Mapping Module captures and maps texture of scanned object to its digital 3D representation. Algorithm maps high-resolution color information to each triangle of scanned object with sub pixel accuracy. Texture mapping can be carried out by using internal imagery of scanning sensor or by using images taken with external camera.
