Support of Thermal Control Subsystem Engineering Job Description Refining and extending existing thermal model of SC Running thermal analysis for all scenarios Interpreting results of thermal analysis to modify and refine thermal design especially thermal hardware heaters, sensors, MLI used for controlling propulsion subsystem Communication of final design to propulsion subsystem supplier and control of implementation. Skills required for this position. Working knowledge of the principles of spacecraft thermal control Experience in the thermal design of SC propellant subsystems Proven experience in thermal modelling with ESA tools e.g. ESATAN TMS Working knowledge of Finite Element pre and post processing software Hypermesh preferred. Working knowledge of CAD software e.g. NX 4.0, Catia v15 Basic knowledge of Linux Operating System Good knowledge of MS Office suite
