HE Space is a successful international space company. For over 30 years, we have been supporting our customers with qualified experts in the field of engineering, science and administration. We are currently looking for a Thermal Engineer to support our customer in Germany. Thermal Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer is a European leader in exciting and technologically sophisticated projects in the areas of space transportation and satellites. You will have the following responsibilities Theoretical investigations, computations and estimations related to thermal aspects of spacecraft subsystems and components Establishment of dedicated geometrical models and thermalfluidic mathematical models Performance of thermal analyses for existing subsystems, components and new developments System engineering for dedicated development activities Execution of special tasks in the context of the analytic design of systems and subsystems, like Development or contribution of system and subsystem specifications Preparation and maintenance of interface documentation Preparation and maintenance of contract documents Contribution for the establishment of test plans and specifications review of existing test plans Test preparation activities Support to establishment of technical proposals, dedicated cost estimations and planning Execution of work orders including Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or similar Professional experience in thermal or fluidic analysis and system engineering Ability to work in teams under consideration of project needs Flexibility to work in several projects Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage. This job is located in Bremen. We are looking for candidates who are available from January 2014 or as soon as possible thereafter.
