Trader Joe's announces west Houston store

The Monrovia, Calif.-based chain will open a store in the Royal Oaks Village Shopping Center at 11683 Westheimer near Kirkwood in west Houston late this year or early next. Trader Joe's, which first opened in the Montrose in 2012, now has stores in The Woodlands, Memorial and, as of February, at LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch in Katy.
