DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 800 AM PDT (1500 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Eight-E was located near latitude 14.7 North, longitude 121.2 West. The depression is moving toward the west-northwest near 10 mph. A general westward motion at a similar forward speed is expected for the next day or two. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Gradual weakening is forecast during the next day or two, and the depression is forecast to dissipate by early Monday. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1009 mb (29.80 inches).
