In the most recent second-quarter filings from US apparel and footwear brands and retailers, global denim giant Levi Strauss & Co saw sales rise but net income slump as it works to refinance its debt, while Skechers booked a mixed quarter revealing falling earnings but record sales. Rocky Brands, meanwhile, moved to a profit thanks but saw sales slide.
