Washington Township won't block sewage sludge application after legal review

A company that has been arguing with officials in Washington Township , Northampton County , for the last year regarding permission to apply biosolids to a local farm has the legal authority to proceed with its plans, officials said. Synagro Technologies Inc. alerted the township in January 2014 that it planned to apply biosolids to a farm on Hester Road.
