William Akley tapped as Yankee Gas president

Given his knowledge of the challenges facing the natural gas industry in the region today, officials with Northeast Utilities said William Akley was the perfect choice to serve as president of Yankee Gas. The company announced Monday that Akley will be taking over as the president of both Yankee Gas and NSTAR, NU's natural gas division located in Massachusetts.
