POSITION SENIOR DATA SCIENTIST The Senior Data Scientist will be responsible for developing and improving algorithms for predicting crop yields and irrigation scheduling. The successful applicant will develop commercial products and report directly to the Chief Technology Officer. The applicant must be familiar with various remote sensing data EO and SAR data, from platforms such as Sentinel, Landsat, and MODIS. The SAFARI Systems Engineering Team is an international team consisting of experts within different disciplines. This team leads the development of the SAFARI Instrument, defines the requirements, and collaborates with development teams across Europe, US and Taiwan. The main task of the candidate will be to analyze the overall endtoend instrument performance, with an emphasis on the effects of detector behavior on the overall science data calibration.
