For our activities in ESTEC, we are currently looking for a Resource Controller. Tasks and Responsibilities The key person will be assigned to the Resource Management Office of the Directorate of Technical and Quality Management DTEC and will be responsible for Coordination and consolidation of multiyear workload andor workforce planning at competence level. Proactive workforce forecasting, controlling, analysis and reporting, including contractors, staff, young graduate trainees, research fellows and trainees in the Directorate of Technical and Quality Management. Interfacing with counterparts in other Directorates, such as Human Resources, programmeproject controllers, as well as within DTEC. Interfacing with Directorates line management in support of workloadworkforce issues. Proactively contributing to the definition, implementation and improvement of management support processes, methods and tools. Contributing to the multiyear performance assessment and specific analyses of the Directorate. Supporting colleagues in the team to ensure smooth operations and continuous high standard of service to internal and external customers. Requirements In addition to having a Masters degree or an equivalent qualification in a relevant administrative field the key person should possess excellent analytical and reporting skills with the ability to manage large and complex data sets and have an affinity with manpower control. Applicants should demonstrate excellent communication skills, and be client focussed. They should have proven ability to work autonomously, whilst being a cooperative team player in a diverse and international team. Experience in the field of controlling of resources and activities andor financeaccounting, at administrator level andor assistant level is required. Familiarity with budgeting, accounting, procurements at ESA is an asset. Highly proficient in the use of modern activities and resource management support toolsdatabases of standard office automation support software packages including in particular advance usage of Excel MsOffice and in particular advanced use of Excel. Experience as user of SAP and in particular ECC and SRM modules and familiarity with relevant ESA corporate applications e.g. ESAp is an asset.
