Your Tasks Include The tasks of the Key Person will typically include Quality control and achievement of scientific and technical consistency of the full existing CEOSCGMS ECV Inventory interacting with data providers worldwide. Your Profile The Key Person shall have a University degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline with the experience and skills specified hereafter. Experience Qualifications Good understanding of satellite remote sensing related to climate including the framework of Essential Climate Variables Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to analyze and design complex processes Demonstrable experience in active participation in international projects. Experience in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining databases using PostgreSQL or MySQL or others is an advantage. Personal skills and Working Language The Key Person shall have strong analytical and problem solving skills, supported by excellent written and oral communication. This should be coupled with good interpersonal skills, together with a collaborative approach, and a proven ability to apply these to the interactions within a team and between teams in international environment. The Key Person shall be able to work calmly and correctly under stress and must be able to work with the minimum of supervision. The official languages are English and French. The working language for the position is English and therefore the Key Person must be able to work effectively in this language.
