The IM Unit Services Solutions, MA, CIS UAS acts as the IM Business Partner for all service and support functions in the Airbus Defence and Space businesses as well as for the Business Clusters CIS Communications, Intelligence and Security and UAS Unmanned Aerial Systems. In addition, the Unit manages the subsidiary landscape of the Divisions from an IT perspective and the MA activities. You will manage the UK Communications Solution team part of the IM Services Solutions team where you will be accountable for the full Service Lifecycle Management, and supplier management, of all IM services delivered to Secure Communications UK users and external Customers, including Service Strategy, Financial Management, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operations and Continual Service Improvement. A wide and deep practical IM knowledge base is required, accompanied by mature management qualities, an understanding of business and evidence of a professional attitude to all responsibilities. As part of the Management, the post holder will be expected to participate in planning and decisionmaking. She must be prepared to work flexibly within and accross the Teams to ensure the overall objectives of IM are met. This role has a high degree of accountability, which includes providing specialist guidance, advice and assistance to colleagues, the business and client organisations. The successful candidate will need to be eligible to gain UK SC Security Clearance to undertake the role. Mandatory Responsible for managing, maintaining and developing the Operational Support Services specific to the role. Responsible for delivering IT Projects as part of a team andor as an individual, balancing the project needs against daytoday support work. Contributes to policy making with respect to the full range of IM matters including strategic planning, hardware and software procurement, choice of methods and standards. Responsible for preparing project plans and coordinating the implementation of medium to large IM projects, setting and agreeing the project deliverables, budget, schedule and quality with relevant stakeholders. Leads technical implementation acceptance and quality assurance for procured supplied communications networks, associated equipment, infrastructure and systems. Ensures that the necessary arrangements are in place to maintain or recover the delivery of systems and services in the event of any physical, technical or environmental disaster or major outage providing continuity of service to the client organisations. Provides detailed personal advice and guidance to all users in the effective use of systems, products and technology available to them demonstrates ingenuity in applying knowledge to nonstandard situations, investigating complex problem situations to diagnose underlying causes and helping users to recover or continue operation. Specific Assist with the development and monitoring of standards, policy, procedures and processes for all IM services. To produce and agree resource planning for all projects and services. To manage projects in accordance with Airbus project management standards. To undertake projects as and when required, including the production of project plans and the management of resources allocated to the projects, ensuring that technical services elements are completed on time, on cost, on quality. Manage 3rd party suppliers and contractors in the delivery of IM services. Ensure appropriate uptodate documentation is in place and maintained to the required standards which accurately describe the installed IM infrastructure. Represents IM and acts as a diplomat at all levels within and outside of the business. To work flexible hours to meet the needs and demands of our services. Good knowledge of Information Management Systems. Proven experience of managing 3rd Party SupplierVendors. Strong Service Delivery Focus and knowledge of Project Management processes. Excellent Leadership skills and multidisciplined Team Management.
